BHIM app also known as “Bharat Interface For Money” is the latest mobile application launched by prime minister Narendra Modi’s government to push India towards cashless or Online transactions society.This new BHIM app is launched today and it is available on Android smartphones.For iOS this app will launch soon.According to the Modi’s government, the mobile application BHIM allows users to make cashless transactions using their smartphones in a fast, secure and reliable way.

HOW TO USE BHIM APPLICATION

First of all download the BHIM app from the play store.After that install the BHIM app.Once the installation is done ,user has to register his/her bank account and then set up a UPI pin for it.Here the user’s mobile number become the payment address.Just like the PAYTM,where your mobile number is your payment address.After completing these tasks,then you are ready to transact Money using this BHIM app.

Now let us see how to send and receive money using this BHIM app.

The user can send or receive money from his/her friends, family members and the from the retailers using the payment address that is your registered mobile number.This is similar to paytm,where you can send money to your friends and family members, retailers,cabs and auto services with in seconds.The user can also send money to non UPI supported banks.This can be done using MMID and IFSC code of the bank.The user can also request money from others and reverse payment if required.

The Aadhar based payments application has been developed by NPCI (National Payment Corporation of India). This application is linked with other Unified Payment Interface (UPI) applications, and bank accounts.The user can also create a custom payment address other than their mobile number.The user can also check the balance in the account while doing the transactions.Along with these features it contains the barcode scanner.Using this the user can pay payment with in seconds to his/her friends, family members and mostly it is useful to pay for retailers and the user can save their money and time.As of now this new BHIM app supports hindi and English language.Government is planning to launch this app in all languages.
