Union HRD minister Prakash Javadeskar added that state government brought the authority to reintroduce class V and VIII CBSE board examinations from 2017-18 academic year, After meeting the Rajasthan education minister the decision of reintroducing class X board examination as well as Class V and Class VII. HRD Ministry is concentrated on providing the quality education, especially for government schools. Praised the initiatives taken by the schools in Rajasthan.

Keeping in the mind about this update, Nearly 15 lakh new Government schools in Rajasthan are finalized where Utkarsh Adarsh schools are opened at the panchayat level. Further Javadeskar added, “The decision to conduct class V and VIII board examinations will be left with the state.”
Nearly 2.5 crore children are studying under this Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE, Mr. Javadekar said, “We will implement it from the 2017-2018 session. Not this year or in the next two months. The final decisions will be announced soon, it is under final consideration.”
In 2014, 437% CBSE candidates a re-opted for school-based exams across the country. Further, it went on dropped by 4.09% in 2015 and later went down to 3.95% in 2016. Minister mentioned, free online coaching to IIT aspirants will be provided keeping in the mind about the increase if the suicides of the students.
