UGC NET 2017 Results: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to declare the results for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2017 . The results for the exam, which was conducted on January 22, 2017, will be available on the official website of UGC NET – cbsenet.nic.in.
The NET exam was conducted in three parts. In part 1, candidates had to answer 50 out of 60 multiple choice questions of 2 marks each. In part 2, there were 50 questions carrying two marks each and part 3 contained 75 questions carrying two marks each.
The exam is held twice a year and conducted for 83 subjects at multiple locations across the country.
CBSE also recently released the answer keys for UGC NET 2017 on its official website cbsenet.nic.in.
Candidates qualifying for the JRF category become eligible to receive UGC monthly fellowship for pursuing research in the subject of their post-graduation or in a related field. They also are eligible for teaching as Assistant Professor.
UGC rules specify age limit for appearing in the JRF category as per the government’s reservation policy.
Candidates appearing only for UGC-NET certificate become eligible for being appointed as Assistant Professor in colleges and universities across India.
